Are you a detail-oriented problem solver that loves systems?

Booker Realty is looking for a qualified Office Assistant interested in learning all aspects of the property management field. You will be involved in the daily operations of a property management company, as well as the activities of residential sales Brokers.

The individual that fulfills this position will need to be highly detail oriented, able to quickly problem solve, and organize a variety of moving pieces.

RESPONSIBILITIES (Including but not limited to)

  • Be an ambassador for Booker Realty by providing quality customer service to all clients, customers, and vendors

  • Provide full administrative support, including phone support, typing, reporting, filing and distribution of correspondence

  • Assist in lease administration activities, including keeping lease database current and ensuring leases have been fully executed

  • Coordinate tenant move ins and move outs, including walk-through’s, vendor fixes, cleaning, vetting applicants, and ensuring units are ready for move-in

  • Oversee coordination of work orders

  • Assist in organization of office and office systems, including updating vendors and units in online management system

  • Perform beginning of month activities, including rent collection, invoices payment, and payment of management company and owner

  • Complete monthly bank account reconciliations

  • Assist with management of HOA, including inputting dues, coordinating maintenance, reconciliations, and attending quarterly meetings

  • Manage Booker Realty Facebook page by posting weekly, responding to comments/messages, and growing following

  • Participates in performance oversight of all service vendors who perform contract services

  • Willingness to travel to units in the Cicero, Arcadia, Noblesville area, if needed

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and Word)

  • Excellent understanding of basic accounting principles

  • Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to travel to properties, if needed

  • Available to be scheduled for work 5 - 15 hours per week (hours are flexible)
